The Kill Sequence

The wilder beast are in their millions, grazing the maasai mara plains. This is the great migration, the 7th wonder of the world. This period though dangerous is very necessary. These herbivorous together with their cousins the zebras, are hunted day and night by the big cats. Effortlessly too, due to their large numbers. But the other equally dangerous aspect is the crossing, the dangerous swim across the Mara river.

If you have witnessed the crossing you will agree that is a wonder, a marvel, but life or death for the “gnoos”. Not only do they start a stampede, trip each other then step on each other, they could get stuck on the rocks or in the mud, but mostly get snatched by the jaws of the mighty monstrous crocs of the Mara River.

I was lucky to get a sequence of photos of a monster crocodile making a kill. In the blink of an eye he had grabbed the wilder beast and drowned it, the water turned red, the scene of a kill , then, like nothing happened, the waters were once again calm.

THE KILL 1 THE KILL 2 THE KILL 3 THE KILL 4 THE KILL 5 THE KILL 6 THE KILL 7 THE KILL 8 THE KILL 9 THE KILL 10 THE KILL 11 THE KILL 12 THE KILL 13 THE KILL 14 THE KILL 15

  1. Hey just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know
a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.

I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both
    show the same outcome.

  2. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet
my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something
like this. Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your
    new updates.
